Farm Update 5/29/11

We are off to the lake! There will still be a delivery on Tuesday as normal, as we will be back tomorrow evening. Hopefully the weather will allow all of the markets to take place as normal this weekend! If you need any extra items this week, you can make an order and pick it up either Tuesday, 5 pm, at Talia's Espresso in N. Wilkesboro, or Wednesday in Boone at the K-mart parking lot (home of the Wed. Boone farmers market now), Blowing Rock on Thursday from 4-6pm, Friday in Wilkesboro at the Open Air Market (please come visit, and spread the word!), or Saturday in Boone at the Horn in the West. The summer crops are having a rough go due to all of the rain, but when the sun comes out (like today so far!) they will take off like crazy! Our new French Heritage chickens have arrived, all 200 of them, and they are very healthy and off to a good start! Have a good holiday Monday, and a great week! -Dale and Cory
